#16 Business Growth: 100 Ways in 100 days

That is right, I said it. You know it and everyone knows it. For a business to grow the business leader needs to stop producing, stop being a technician, stop being the one stop shop, stop doing the work; could it be your ego is getting the better of you?

The desire you have to be needed is greater than the desire to be free, hence why leaders keep doing tasks they shouldn’t.

Just stop it! “Easier said than done” I hear all the time.

The challenge today is to make a list of all the tasks you are currently doing that someone else could do. Be aware of the excuses you tell yourself of why you need to be the person that does those certain tasks and be aware of excuses that are there for why you are the only on that can do it.

Once the business leader has mastered this skill then it is time to teach the next in line to do the same. There are many examples in business whereby leaders keep the work for their ego.

Let go of it all and break free! What would your business look like if you did that?

It’s time to grow!
