A sure fire way to kill growth is to create uncertainty!
Customers are searching for certainty in every purchase they make. If, as a business leader, you are looking to grow and have greater influence with customers then I would recommend creating more certainty within the sales/engagement process.
Certainty builds trust and in most sales processes customers are looking to know you, like you and trust you. Without trust there won’t be a sale; to be uncertain about a product or service is a big deal killer. Customers are looking for certainty to ensure they know what they are buying.
Reviewing your current process of sales and working on where more certainty can be implemented can help sky rocket sales. I have seen sales conversion figures doubled when reviewing the process and considering how to reduce uncertainty.
Consider how to show the process clearly, over communicate, chunk things down into simpler bite size pieces, set clear expectations and make the implied explicit are just a few ways that I teach clients on how to win more business.
